英国翻译口译，你了解么？

什么是口译？ 

翻译是对任何形式的语言信息转变的概括，而翻译又分为笔译（即笔头翻译）及口译（口头翻译）。其次，口译分为“同声传译”（Simultaneous interpreting，简称“同传”，又称“同声翻译”、“同步口译”）和“交替传译”（Consecutive interpreting，简称“交传”），二者不同之处在于同传是指同声传译员通过专用的设备，在不打断讲话者讲话的情况下，不间断地将内容口译给听众的一种翻译方式，而交传则是指等待发言者讲话结束后单独进行口头翻译，比“同声传译”所需时间要长一些。 所以其实同传学习只是口译学习的一部分，所有开设同传的英国大学都会教授交传，因此这个专业都总称为口译，而并不只是同传或是交传。

口译的职业前景如何？ 

由于具有不占用会议时间的优势，同传已发展成为会议口译中最常用的模式。当前，几乎所有正式的国际多语言会议以及国际组织都采用了同传作为标准口译模式。而交替传译则多用于规模较小且只涉及两种工作语言的场合，如外交会晤、双边谈判、访问考察、小范围磋商、记者采访、司法和准司法程序、宴会致词、新闻发布会，以及一些小型研讨会等。该专业的毕业生既可以做自由译员，直接承接各类同传交传任务，也可以进入公司，做全职翻译。
