威廉·萨默塞特·毛姆的《月亮和六便士》里,有这样的句子出现:

-- He hinted at undeserved misfortune, and there is no doubt that he looked upon himself as the victim of injustice.

-- "Unfortunately, there can be no doubt of it."

 

儒勒·凡尔纳的《神秘岛》里,有这样的句子出现:

-- There was no doubt that they might be killed, but on the other hand they might succeed, and without this storm!Without this storm the balloon would have started already and the looked-for opportunity would not have then presented itself.

-- Between the islet and the coast there only remained a narrow channel which would no doubt be easy to cross.
